Kimberly A.D. Lindquist, D.D.S., received the Spirit of Service New Practitioner Dental Community Volunteer Award from the American Association of Endodontists during its recent Annual Session in San Antonio, Texas. This award honors individuals who have practiced less than 10 years and have demonstrated true leadership through activities in the dental community and with dental organizations to benefit underserved patients.
Dr. Lindquist became an endodontist in 2005 and quickly took on leadership roles within the endodontic community. Dr. Lindquist chaired the Resident and New Practitioner Committee and served on the AAE Annual Session Planning Committee. She also served as president of the Minnesota Association of Endodontists from 2006-2009. Dr. Lindquist is a member of several other professional organizations as well as numerous volunteer groups. She started her own practice in 2005 and is also an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Minnesota where she received her D.D.S. in 1992. Along with teaching, Dr. Lindquist is a mentor for dental students at the University of Minnesota and has recently volunteered for the AAE Open House Program, providing mentoring and support to recent endodontic graduates and new practitioners.
