Choose the appropriate application from the list below; requirements and fees are provided.

Active Application Requirements

  1. Verification of membership in the American Dental Association or, if not residing in the U.S., membership in the recognized endodontic specialty association; or if none, then the equivalent national dental association of the country of current residence
  2. A completed Active Member Application (PDF File, 40 KB)
  3. Payment of an application fee and annual dues (U.S. Dollars)

    Applications and payments received July 1 through December 31
    (Dues apply for entire year (July 1– June 30) and include a full fiscal year’s subscription to the Journal of Endodontics.)    		 Dues: $660

Educator Application Requirements

  1. Verification of membership in the American Dental Association or, if not residing in the U.S., membership in the recognized endodontic specialty association; or, if none, then the equivalent national dental association of the country of current residence

  3. Signature of your dean or administrative head (on application)
  4. Payment of an application fee and annual dues (U.S. Dollars)

Associate Application Requirements

  1.   2. A completed Associate Member Application (PDF File, 40 KB)
  3. Payment of an application fee and annual dues (U.S. Dollars)

Student Application Requirements

  1. A completed Student Member Application (PDF File, 36 KB) endorsed by the director of the advanced specialty education program in endodontics, advanced placement program or other health-related program

  2. Payment of annual dues (U.S. Dollars)

    The AAE membership dues cycle is based on the AAE fiscal year (July 1– June 30). Individuals submitting applications for Student membership through April will receive membership benefits for the current fiscal year. Applications submitted in May or June will be valid for membership beginning July 1 of the next fiscal year, and the Journal subscription will start in July of that year. Total Amount Due: $50

Predoctoral Student Application Requirements

  1. A completed Predoctoral Student Member Application (PDF File, 36 KB) endorsed by an endodontic faculty member or Active AAE member
  2. Payment of annual dues (U.S. Dollars)

    The AAE membership dues cycle is based on the AAE fiscal year (July 1– June 30). Individuals submitting applications for Predoctoral Student membership through April will receive membership benefits for the current fiscal year. Applications submitted in May or June will be valid for membership beginning July 1 of the next fiscal year, and the Journal subscription will start in July of that year. Total Amount Due: $50

Auxiliary/Auxiliary Group Application Requirements

For multiple staff from the same office applying:

  1. A completed Auxiliary Group Member Application (PDF File, 115 KB)
  2. Payment of application fee ($25 per group) and annual dues ($35 per person) (U.S. Dollars)

For an individual applying:

  1. A completed Auxiliary Member Application (PDF File, 41 KB)
  2. Payment of application fee and annual dues (U.S. Dollars)


    The AAE membership dues cycle is based on the AAE fiscal year (July 1– June 30). Individuals submitting applications for Auxiliary membership through April will receive membership benefits for the current fiscal year. Applications submitted in May or June will be valid for membership beginning July 1 of the next fiscal year. Dues: $35
    One-Time Application Fee: $25
    Total Amount Due: $60
