Welcome From the Chair

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the American Association of Endodontists, i t is my pleasure to invite you to the 2008 Fall Conference. The Intercontinental Mark Hopkins hotel in San Francisco, Calif., will serve as the venue for our program on the topic of Implants in Endodontics—Treatment Planning and Placement Techniques.

The AAE invites you to spend three days in an energizing setting to experience an interactive program on a decisive topic facing endodontics today. The meeting will include hands-on workshops so participants will be able to “do” in addition to “listen.” Thursday and Friday will feature both lectures paired with workshops presented by Dentsply Tulsa Dental Specialties and Nobel Biocare. Drs. Robert S. Roda and Mahmoud Torabinejad will participate in a discussion of their experiences with implants in clinical practice as well as the educational environment, and Dr. Clark M. Stanford, a prosthodontist from the University of Iowa, will present Restorative Aspects: Pitfalls of Placing Implants.

After you have spent the mornings engaged in the educational program, your afternoons and evenings will be free to enjoy social events and exciting local tours that capture the essence of San Francisco. In addition to networking with your colleagues at the Welcome Reception, take the opportunity to explore Chinatown or sample some wine at local world-renowned vineyards.

Please take advantage of this exceptional weekend and join your colleagues for a unique educational opportunity, which will provide you with critical information on a topic of great interest to our specialty.

On behalf of the Continuing Education Committee, we look forward to seeing you at the 2008 Fall Conference! Space is limited so be sure to register early!

Best Regards,

W. Craig Noblett, D.D.S., M.S.
