Mitchell H. Davich, D.M.D., Re-Elected Treasurer of the American Association of Endodontists
CHICAGO — Dr. Mitchell H. Davich of Morristown, N.J., was re-elected treasurer of the American Association of Endodontists during its 2008 Annual Session, held April 9 – 12 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Dr. Davich has been actively involved in the activities of the Association for a number of years, serving on its Board of Directors from 2001-2004, as treasurer from 2007-2008, and participating in the work of various committees, including Membership Insurance, Membership Benefits, Strategic Planning and Information Technology. He also has served on the Journal of Endodontics Scientific Advisory Board since 2004.
In addition to his leadership in the AAE, Dr. Davich has been an active participant in the New Jersey Association of Endodontists, serving as its president from 1999-2002, and in the Tri-County Dental Society, serving as president in 1996. He also was elected to fellowship in both the International College of Dentists (2001) and the American College of Dentists (1996).
Dr. Davich maintains a full-time private practice in Morristown and is a member of the Morristown Memorial Hospital Department of Dentistry and the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Department of Dentistry. He received his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry in 1976, and his certificate of endodontics from the University of Connecticut in 1981.
He and his wife Barbara reside in Randolph, N.J. They have two adult children, Arlyn and Eric.
