Mitchell H. Davich, D.M.D. Elected Treasurer
CHICAGO — Dr. Mitchell H. Davich, of Morristown, N.J., was elected treasurer of the American Association of Endodontists during its 2007 Annual Session, held April 25 - 28 in Philadelphia, Pa.
Dr. Davich has been actively involved in the activities of the Association for a number of years, serving on its Board of Directors from 2001-2004 and participating in the work of various committees, including Membership Insurance, Membership Benefits, Strategic Planning and Information Technology Committees. He also has served on the Journal of Endodontics Advisory Panel since 2004.
In addition to his leadership in the AAE, Dr. Davich has been an active participant in the New Jersey Association of Endodontists, serving as its president from 1999-2002, and in the Tri-County Dental Society, serving as president in 1996. He also was elected to fellowship in both the International College of Dentists (2001) and the American College of Dentists (1996).
Dr. Davich maintains a full-time private practice in Morristown and is a member of the Morristown Memorial Hospital Department of Dentistry and the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Department of Dentistry. He received his B.S. in biology from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., in 1972 and his D.M.D. from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dentistry in 1976.
He and his wife Barbara reside in Randolph, N.J. They have two adult children, Arlyn and Eric.
The American Association of Endodontists, headquartered in Chicago, represents more than 6,900 members worldwide, including approximately 95 percent of all eligible endodontists in the United States. The Association, founded in 1943, is dedicated to excellence in the art and science of endodontics and to the highest standard of patient care.
