Root Canal Awareness Week

Root Canal Awareness Week 2008: Watch Your Mouth!

Join the AAE as it celebrates the 2nd annual Root Canal Awareness Week March 30 - April 5, 2008, under the theme "Watch Your Mouth." This year's activities will focus on school-aged children (elementary school through high school) and the importance of protecting their teeth, particularly as they engage in sporting activities. Research has shown that without a mouth guard, a person is more than 60 times more likely to experience dental trauma if he or she participates in a high-impact sport, including soccer, basketball and even baseball.
