Annual Session Planning
Arranges and presents a high quality scientific program and social activities for members and guests at the Annual Session.
Annual Session Site Selection
Screens and recommends sites suitable for future annual sessions.
Clinical Practice
Considers general issues of dental health care and specific issues relative to endodontic practice.
Constitution and Bylaws
Suggests revisions and receives for comment proposed amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws.
Continuing Education
Develops and presents professional continuing education courses.
Corporate Relations
Examines the relationship of the AAE to the manufacturers of endodontic equipment, materials and providers of services; identifies ways to enhance this relationship and investigates issues of mutual concern.
Dental Benefits
Considers all issues relative to insurance claims and third party insurers, and their influence and impact on endodontic care delivery.
Distance Learning
Investigates desirability and feasibility of distance learning methodologies and technologies.
Editorial Board
Serves as advisory board for the Journal of Endodontics and oversees publication of the Journal.
Educational Affairs
Advises and counsels the Board of Directors in the area of educational affairs and provides endodontic educators with continuing education opportunities.
Evidence-Based Endodontics
Conducts systematic review for evidence-based decision making in endodontics.
Federal Dental Health Services
Monitors concerns affecting the practice of endodontics and the delivery of endodontic cares and policies that impact on the specialty and practice of endodontics in the Federal Dental Health Services.
Governmental Affairs
Monitors AAE governmental concerns affecting the practice of endodontics and the delivery of endodontic cares and policies.
Honors and Awards
Recommends recipients of designated honors and awards.
Membership Insurance
Considers all issues relating to group insurance available to members through the Association.
Membership Services
Promotes membership in the Association and makes recommendations for member services.
Nominating
Provides a slate of nominees for AAE Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer; Directors of the ABE; and Trustees of the AAE Foundation.
Professional Conduct and Ethics
Handles matters pertinent to peer review and professional quality standards in endodontics, sets guidelines for professional conduct, and assists affiliate, constituent and component peer review committees.
Public and Professional Affairs
Develops and implements programs to increase the profession's and public's awareness of the specialty, and maintains rapport with the dental profession.
Regenerative Endodontics
Examines the AAE’s role in regenerative endodontics.
Research and Scientific Affairs
Provides advice and expertise for those activities related to research and scientific advances and affairs.
Resident and New Practitioner
Develops recommendations as to how the AAE can provide greater service to residents and new practitioners; coordinates with the AAE Board of Directors, committees and other groups on issues of benefit to residents and new practitioners.

Review and develop possible proposals for revisions, and clarifying intent statements for each stated standard as referred by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation Review Committee on Endodontics Education.
