Written Examination Information<\/h2>\n

Examination Date, Application Deadline, Pearson Vue Registration<\/h3>\n

The ABE Written Exam will be administered at Pearson Vue testing facilities on the following date:<\/p>\n

May 18, 2027<\/p>\n

Application Deadline<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Please Note: Online applications will be available November 17, 2026.<\/p>\n

Applications must be submitted to the ABE no later than<\/strong>\u00a0January 11, 2027<\/strong>. We cannot accept applications after this date.<\/p>\nPearson Vue Registration
\n<\/strong>Upon approval of the ABE applications, applicants will receive an autogenerated email with instructions on scheduling their Written Examination directly with Pearson Vue. Instructions will include the date Pearson Vue will open their test center registration. Test center registration is done on a first-come-first-serve basis and centers rapidly fill to capacity. We recommend scheduling the exam with Pearson Vue the day their registration opens.\n

Case History Portfolio Examination Information<\/h2>\n

Submission Deadline<\/h3>\n

May 1st at 2 PM Central Daylight Time<\/h4>\n

The deadline for the ABE Case History Exam is May 1st at 2:00 P.M. Central Daylight Time (CDT).<\/b> This deadline will be strictly adhered, and any portfolio submitted past this time will be returned to the candidate and not evaluated in the cycle. Please do not wait to submit your portfolio until the deadline.<\/p>\n

Eligible candidates will have access to the case history website to upload their portfolio at any time during the year. However, the recurring submission deadline will be at 2 PM, Central Daylight Time (CDT) on May 1st. <\/b>Any portfolio that has not been submitted in its entirety by the deadline will not be evaluated during that grading cycle. Limitations on the number of portfolios accepted per cycle may apply.<\/p>\n

Registration for the March 2027 ABE Oral Exam is now closed. \u00a0A limited number of waitlist spots are available to eligible Board Candidates for whom the Oral Exam is the next exam in their Track. \u00a0To request placement on the waitlist, please email\u00a0staff@amboardendo.org<\/a>.<\/p>\nOctober 2027 ABE Oral Exam Dates:
