If a Candidate wishes to retake an examination, they must pay the examination fee again.<\/p>\n<h2>Re-establishment of Board Eligibility<\/h2>\n<h3>Loss of Board Eligibility occurs for the following reasons:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A Candidate fails to successfully pass an examination within their eligibility period.<\/li>\n<li>A Candidate fails an examination for the second time.<\/li>\n<li>A Candidate fails to pay the annual maintenance fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To re-establish Board Eligibility, a new Preliminary Application form and appropriate fees are required. After approval of the application, the Board will declare the individual Board-Eligible.
