The Foundation helps fund impactful studies, allocating approximately $200,000 annually in competitive research grants. From 1990 to 2000, the Foundation funded $1 million in research; since 2001 over $7 million has been invested in research, via multiple funding opportunities!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Foundation has supported discoveries that have become part of everyday clinical practice, including research on bioceramic materials, local anesthesia techniques and non-narcotic pain management, pulp regeneration and healing, new materials and techniques to prepare canals and canal disinfection.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t<p>We target both investigations that may not appeal to the broader interests of other funders as well as studies that are likely to attract ongoing support from a larger agency and garner prominence in the government&#8217;s funding agenda.
