Thanks to generous donors, the Foundation has been able to provide resources and funding in various forms to support endodontic research, education and access to care.<\/p>\n<p>Take a look at a few of the great causes and initiatives the Foundation supported during the past 11 months:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$100,000 awarded to University of the Pacific for an Endowed Faculty Matching Grant<\/li>\n<li>$100,489 in funding awarded for Spring 2018 Competitive Research Grants<\/li>\n<li>More than 1400 patients received care from Foundation volunteers and many others during four Henry Schein Cares Foundation International Outreach trips to Jamaica<\/li>\n<li>First-ever domestic outreach pilot program kicked off in partnership with Einstein Medical Center and Project HOME in Philadelphia<\/li>\n<li>Nearly $60,000 in Resident Research Grants are awarded to endodontic residents on a rolling deadline throughout the year.<\/li>\n<li>Annie Shrestha was named the 2018 Educator Fellow and will be awarded $250,000, over the next five-years, in recognition of her commitment to education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1541 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aae.org\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/01\/cal-245x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"691\" height=\"846\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.aae.org\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/01\/cal-245x300.jpg 245w, https:\/\/www.aae.org\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/01\/cal-150x184.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.aae.org\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/01\/cal.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.aae.org\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/01\/cal-245x300@2x.jpg 490w, https:\/\/www.aae.org\/foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/01\/cal-150x184@2x.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 691px) 100vw, 691px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the final weeks of the year, the Foundation extends a heartfelt thank you to all its generous supporters who continually make the work of supporting endodontics enjoyable and fulfilling!
