CHICAGO - Rebecca Perry, M.B.A., CPA, CAE, joined the American Association of Endodontists as the organization's Chief Financial Officer on October 10. Perry comes to the AAE from the American Dental Association where she served as the Director of Accounting and Reporting since 2011. She has nearly 30 years of experience in association and foundation financial management.
"Rebecca has an extensive and impressive background in financial management, governance, human resources, information technology and risk management," said AAE Executive Director Ken Widelka. "She will be an asset to the AAE to oversee all of our financial processes and procedures, maintain our fiduciary responsibilities to our members, and direct new business growth and opportunities."
Prior to her role at the ADA, Perry held a variety of positions with the American Health Information Management Association, including serving as its CFO, Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of Operations.
Perry is a Certified Association Executive and Certified Public Accountant. She earned an M.B.A. at Indiana University and her bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's College. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, American Society of Association Executives, Association Forum of Chicagoland, and Illinois CPA Society.
