Massachusetts voters have passed ballot Question 2, making the state the first in the country to introduce a uniform rule for a “medical loss ratio” for dental insurance.
The Associated Press called the race , with “Yes” at 71.3% of the vote.
This historic passing means that more patient dollars will go to patient care, and it could serve as an impetus to bring widespread change throughout the country.
By working at a grassroots level in partnership with the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association, we are so proud to have supported “Yes on 2 for Dental Care”! … and we know it was this spirited effort that helped bring about such an overwhelming win in Massachusetts.
