Residents to Usher in Endodontic Career with APICES 2017

The AAE will host the 13th annual Advanced Program in Clinical Endodontics Symposium, APICES, August 11 – 12, 2017, at the Swissotel Chicago, located in the heart of the city along the Chicago River. APICES has moved its location from the site of an endodontic institution to the AAE’s hometown! The specialized event, crafted carefully by the Resident and New Practitioner Committee, is offered solely to endodontic residents and 2017 graduates. Attendees gain access to a host of lectures, networking and social gatherings, geared specifically to those on the cusp of a career in this challenging and rewarding field.

APICES affords residents invaluable information and makes possible essential connections with peers and industry partners that aid in their first crucial steps when joining the field of endodontics. Participants will connect with valued corporate sponsors from the industry whose support helps make this free event possible.

Thanks to the support of sponsors, it is now possible to meet the growing interest to attend. This year, APICES will be able to accommodate up to 300 resident attendees. Registration, housing, meals and one-and-a-half days of programming are all free and geared toward assisting hard-working residents as they pursue careers in this specialized field.

For the past two years, Dr. Kevin Kuo, resident at Harvard School of Dentistry documented his time at APICES 2015 and 2016 via video blog. Interested in attending APICES, but not sure what to expect? Check it out!
