The Insight Track: Toward Solving an Old Problem

ITRetreatment1This fall, the AAE will address one of the specialty’s most complex, yet common, problems at the Insight Track: Retreatment. The Insight Track is the AAE’s education series designed to address a single topic or theme critical to the specialty. The third Insight Track will be held November 10-12, 2016, at the luxurious Ritz-Carlton located in Cancun along Mexico’s beautiful Mayan coastline.

Over three days, the meeting will provide a comprehensive examination of retreatment topics, including new diagnostic technologies, pain management methods, treatment techniques, material variations and prognosis statistics. Attendees will leave with fresh perspectives to put into practice immediately, along with 12 CE hours!

With endodontists facing an increasing number of retreatment cases every year, the subject was a natural focus for the meeting.

“The committee decided on this theme since retreatment presents endodontists with a significant number of challenging cases in our daily quest to save the natural dentition,” said 2016-2017 CEC Chair Dr. Timothy C. Kirkpatrick. “The 2013 Fall Conference on apical surgery broke attendance records, and the CEC is expecting similar enthusiasm for the Insight Track: Retreatment since we have not previously focused a conference on this topic.”

After each presentation, attendees will be able to continue the conversation and build their professional networks during breaks in the corporate partners’ area. This space will be limited to a select group of the Foundation for Endodontics’ premier supporters, allowing Insight Track participants to have meaningful interactions and develop relationship with exhibitors.

The meeting schedule has been designed with free time in the afternoon to allow attendees to spend time with friends, family and guests enjoying the amenities at The Ritz-Carlton, which overlooks its own white-sand beach in CancЈn. The Welcome Reception at The Ritz-Carlton will offer time to socialize with colleagues and discuss the topics of the day.

“The 2016 Insight Track in CancЈn promises to be a world-class event,” remarked 2016-2017 CEC member Dr. Steven E. Fegan. “The CEC has selected a panel of outstanding speakers to present a cutting-edge scientific program on retreatment. Definitely a conference you don’t want to miss!”

Registration for the Insight Track: Retreatment is now open! Don’t delay – register online by October 8 to receive the reduced rate.
