This is where voting members will hear reports and updates and see the installation of new officers and Board members.<\/p>\n<p>Full information on AAE26 and the schedule of events can be found on the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/aae26.eventscribe.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-feathr-click-track=\"true\" data-feathr-link-aids=\"636d5f3cb6ec0e11f062f95e\">AAE26 website<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2  id=\"dcm\">\n\t\t\tDistrict Caucus Meetings\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>District Caucus meetings will take place on Thursday, April 16 from 11:30 a.m. &#8211; 12:15 p.m. in the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City, 4th floor, Regency Ballroom CD. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Attend your Caucus meetings to hear updates from your District Directors, welcome incoming Directors, and discuss issues of interest in your district.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Districts I, III, IV, V, and VII will appoint District Caucus Nominating Committees to nominate Directors to begin terms in 2027.<\/p>\n<h2  id=\"faq\">\n\t\t\tFAQs\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\" tabindex=\"-1\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-0\">When is the General Assembly and can I attend?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<button type=\"button\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-0\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-0\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/button>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The 2026 General Assembly meeting is scheduled for Friday, April 17 from 8:30 a.m. &#8211; 9:45 a.m. All members attending AAE26 are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\" tabindex=\"-1\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-1\">How do I vote during the meeting?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<button type=\"button\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-1\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-1\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/button>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Only members with voting rights (Active, Disabled Active, Educator, FDHS, Life and Retired) are eligible to vote during the meeting. Voting members will receive a voting card at the meeting.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\" tabindex=\"-1\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-2\">What will be voted on at the General Assembly Meeting?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<button type=\"button\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-2\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-2\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/button>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The General Assembly will vote to approve minutes from its last meeting, proposed amendments to the AAE Constitution and Bylaws, incoming officers and Directors for the AAE Board, incoming Trustees for the Foundation Board, and incoming Directors for the ABE Board.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<a role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\" tabindex=\"-1\"  id=\"fl-accordion--label-3\">How do I propose a motion?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<button type=\"button\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-3\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"fl-accordion--panel-3\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/button>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Please submit proposed motions for New Business to the AAE in writing, two weeks prior to the General Assembly meeting.
