The AAE is an authoritative and credible resource for patients seeking information about endodontic treatments and endodontists as specialists in saving teeth. Through the website and other resources and outreach, the AAE communicates with patients and potential patients about the benefits of seeing an endodontist and saving their natural teeth.\u00a0Below are just some of the ways the AAE reaches this important audience.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>
\nHelpful informational patient awareness graphics that are downloadable<\/a>. These can be used on your web site, social media and\/or printed and distributed to your patients and partners in care.\n

\"\"The AAE recently was featured in an Oral Health supplement to USA Today<\/em>. The digital article<\/a> was seen by millions of readers as part of the Future of Personal Health Campaign. This is just one example of the dozens of interview requests and editorial opportunities that cross our desk each year.<\/p>\n

Digital Communications<\/h5><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Patients are increasingly turning to online sources for information about health care. More than four million visitors view patient education content<\/a> on the AAE website annually and about 5,500 Find an Endodontist searches are conducted every month.<\/p>\n

Through Google Grants, the AAE has access to $10,000 a month in free search engine advertising, to reach people already looking for information on endodontic topics, driving them to the patient website and encouraging them to use the Find an Endodontist search to seek a specialist in their area.<\/p>\n

We also educate and engage the public through social media, primarily Facebook <\/a>and Twitter<\/a>, where the AAE provides helpful information on a variety of endodontic topics and can directly communicate with people about root canal treatment and endodontics.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Patient Education Videos<\/h5><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t

One of the AAE’s most popular patient resources are our education videos. We have invested in developing a series of 3-D animation procedure videos to explain treatments to patients, and additional live-action videos highlight endodontists as specialists in saving teeth and the safety of root canal treatment. These educational videos are viewed by hundreds of thousands of patients every year.<\/p>\n

Videos are available as a member benefit for download<\/a> and use in offices and operatories, and members are encouraged to share the AAE’s YouTube videos<\/a> with colleagues to help spread information about endodontists and endodontic treatments.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t
