Pediatric endodontist Dr. Julianna Bair decided to capitalize on the intersectionality of these specialties \u2026 essentially ensuring proper management of any case she encounters. In this episode, we take a dichotomous journey that elucidates various considerations within this unique space addressing the age-old question: \u201cParents in or out of the room?\u201d Dr. Bair enlightens us with her hypotheses on the potency of contemporary nitrous and prioritizing IV sedation and why. The comparisons between the specialties in terms of patient management have vast overlap, but a distinction for pharmacological dosing becomes clear as Dr. Bair displays her mathematical wizardry and rattles off antibiotic conversions and formulas for the pediatric patient.
