Position papers and editorials are not considered for this award. Papers are judged based upon:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scientific merit and broad impact on dental research<\/li>\n<li>Relevance to endodontics<\/li>\n<li>Originality of research objectives and\/or ideas presented<\/li>\n<li>Creativity of study design or uniqueness of approaches and concepts<\/li>\n<li>Validity of statistical and\/or epidemiological methods<\/li>\n<li>Clarity of presentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This year\u2019s\u00a0<em>JOE\u00a0<\/em>Award winners will be recognized in a special ceremony during\u00a0AAE23.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations for the next season of the JOE Awards will open this fall.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to this year\u2019s winners!:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Basic Research: Biology:<\/strong>\u00a0 Sun, X.
