\"\"The University of Toronto<\/a> announced \u201cProfessor Anil Kishen is receiving Canada Research Chair Tier 1 Funding for his work in oral health nanomedicine.\u201d Kishen Lab\u2019s work with nanoparticles since 2005 has yielded many innovations in the field, including \u201ca natural alternative to fluoride\u201d and \u201ca remedy for tooth sensitivity that offered temporary relief immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the funding, Dr. Kishen will continue his work over the next seven years \u201cusing multifunctional bioactive nanoparticles to look at wound healing and cellular crosstalk mechanisms.\u201d<\/p>\n
