It also expands the conversation with emerging research examining the relationship between endodontic infection, treatment and systemic health.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s new?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The updated resource incorporates recent research,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcl.ac.uk\/news\/root-canal-treatment-reduces-heart-disease-and-diabetes-risk?utm_campaign=17088656-Member%20Announcements&amp;utm_source=hs_email&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_content=433280062&amp;_hsenc=p2ANqtz-8CWuWvCAwu9c5I9dBmmDXVlqbECWC7Vg1xXBh4pSP5gHwkTqUEBtTJtsN-T8Th51uoNuTrnAQ3JB89P5B9ecfa7UVxaA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">including a landmark two-year longitudinal study from researchers at King\u2019s College London<span class=\"sr-only\">(opens in new tab)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0examining patients following successful root canal treatment.
