Ian Cross

Bio

Ian is a specialist in prosthodontics and endodontics and has over 30 years' experience working in dentistry; very few practitioners are on two specialist lists. He qualified from Newcastle University in 1987 and went into the Royal Navy as a dental surgeon, working mainly with the Royal Marines as a commando dental officer for 40 commando.
Ian completed a master�s degree in Restorative Dentistry; his area of research involved dental implants. He also passed the exams for Membership in Restorative Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Ian has international Membership of the American Association of Endodontists and, is currently, one of only five endodontists in the UK to have specialist membership of the European Society of Endodontology.
Outside of the practice, Ian enjoys spending time outdoors and extreme sports, including running in the mountains and scuba-diving.
