John Barrett

Bio

Dr. John Barrett brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his endodontic practice, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Utah before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While there, he was recognized with the Department of General Dentistry Excellence in Operative Dentistry Award and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.

Dr. Barrett went on to complete his advanced training in Endodontics at the University of Connecticut (UConn), where he gained extensive experience in root canal therapy, retreatment, apical microsurgery, and regenerative endodontics. He also served as chief resident during his residency, earning both his Endodontic Certificate and a Master’s Degree in Dental Medicine.

An active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Association of Endodontists, Florida Dental Association, and the St. Augustine Dental Society, Dr. Barrett is dedicated to staying at the forefront of his field and providing the latest treatments and techniques to his patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Barrett enjoys staying active through fitness, golfing, and skiing. He’s also passionate about barbecuing, playing guitar, and cheering on his favorite college football teams. Above all, his greatest joy is spending time with his wife and 4-year-old daughter.
