Dr. Vahdati is a graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, for which he was invited back to teach part-time. He finished his endodontic residency at the top of his class at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry; and he was trained by world-renowned experts such as the legendary Mahmoud Torabinejad and Leif Bakland. He is well-published in the fields of endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and implant dentistry. He has also authored several book chapters on those general topics as well as on the topic of tissue engineering.
