Dr. Dante Luis Amelotti is a first-generation immigrant from Córdoba, Argentina, with over 19 years of healthcare experience as a U.S. military service member. He served 10 years in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, medical laboratory scientist, and cytology technologist. Later, he served in the U.S. Army as a general dentist, including a combat deployment to Afghanistan with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team (Rakkasans), 101st Airborne Division.
Retiring from active duty in November 2025, Dr. Amelotti holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University, a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, post-doctoral certificates in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, Advanced Clinical Practice, and Endodontics from the U.S. Army Medical Department, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences (Summa Cum Laude) from The George Washington University.
Dr. Amelotti is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, and he currently practices full-time at Virginia Family Dentistry. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese—with basic proficiency in Italian—Dr. Amelotti is known for his compassionate, approachable, and humble nature. He lives in Virginia with his wife and two children and enjoys family time, sports, travel, and community engagement.
