Bio
Dr. Frisbie, a native Wisconsinite, attended UW-Madison for his B.S. degree in Medical Microbiology & Immunology. He then studied at New York University College of Dentistry, obtaining a DDS in 2007, as well as awards for clinical excellence, endodontic achievements, and induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) dental honor society. Dr. Frisbie went on to receive his Endodontic Certificate at New York University, where he received awards at the national level for his research and contribution to the field. He received additional training with DOCS (Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation) to be able to provide safe and effective sedation ('sleep dentistry') for patients' comfort.
Dr. Frisbie is a respected leader in endodontics, having conducted research and published multiple articles in the field's most prestigious research journal (Journal of Endodontics) and is contributing author of the 10th edition of Pathways of the Pulp, arguably the leading textbook in the specialty. He remains active in continuing education and in his specialty's organizations. Dr. Frisbie also remains part-time adjunct faculty at New York University College of Dentistry. He is an active member in the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association, Waukesha County Dental Society, American Dental Association, and American Association of Endodontists.
He leads the endodontic portion of annual third world dental outreach educational trips and has most recently led teams to serve the underprivilaged in Honduras, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, rural Maine, and Haiti.
In his free time, he is an avid outdoorsman, loves to garden, travel, and most of all enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids.
Dr. Frisbie has the utmost passion for delivering excellent patient care in a comfortable and compassionate environment.
