Johnny D. Huynh

Bio

Dr. Johnny Huynh is a board-certified endodontist. He teaches the endodontic residents as an adjunct faculty at the Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education and Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Huynh is also an active member of the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, and Missouri Dental Association.

Dr. Huynh was born and raised in Southern California where he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, Riverside with a B.S. degree in Biology. He then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from UCLA School of Dentistry where he received the Dean’s Scholarship and Student Achievement Award in Endodontics from the American Association of Endodontists. After dental school, he continued his education in Honolulu, HI at the Lutheran Medical Center where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and served as the primary care provider for patients with complex medical and dental needs, including patients with special needs. Dr. Huynh’s training focuses on comprehensive care to save teeth and to preserve your oral health. Dr. Huynh's passion for Endodontics led him to Saint Louis University where he received his Master of Science in Dentistry degree and Specialty certification in Endodontics.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Huynh enjoys tennis, cycling, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two dogs. He is also fluent in English and Vietnamese.
