Examination Date, Application Deadline, Pearson Vue Registration
The ABE Written Exam will be administered at Pearson Vue testing facilities on the following date:
May 21, 2024
Please Note: Online applications will be available mid-November of the current year.
Applications must be submitted to the ABE no later than January 9, 2024. We cannot accept applications after this date.
Pearson Vue Registration
Upon approval of the ABE applications, applicants will receive an autogenerated email with instructions on scheduling their Written Examination directly with Pearson Vue. Instructions will include the date Pearson Vue will open their test center registration. Test center registration is done on a first-come-first-serve basis and centers rapidly fill to capacity. We recommend scheduling the exam with Pearson Vue the day their registration opens.
Beginning with the May 2024 exam cycle, portfolios will be evaluated ONE TIME PER YEAR, with the annual submission deadline of midnight Central Standard Time on May 1st.
Portfolios must be uploaded to the Digital Case History website at amboardendo.org prior to or on the May 1 submission date to be included in that examination review cycle. Portfolios uploaded after that date will not be reviewed until the next submission date (provided that a Candidate's eligibility to challenge the Case History Exam remains current). Limitations on the number of portfolios accepted per cycle may apply. For additional information, please visit the Case History Exam webpage.
