The Foundation Announces the 2023-2024 ADEA Scholar: Dr. Lorel E. Burns, DDS, MS

Congrats to Dr. Lorel E. Burns, recipient of the 2023-2024 AAE Foundation & Endo1 Partners ADEA Leadership Institute scholarship!

Dr. Lorel E. Burns is Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics at NYU College of Dentistry. She is the faculty mentor of the NYU Dentistry chapter of the Student National Dental Association and is a Diplomate for the American Board of Endodontics. 

Dr. Burns co-founded and is co-director of the NYU Dentistry Saturday Academy, a pathway program for high school students from historically underrepresented and marginalized backgrounds. Established in 2012, Saturday Academy has the two-fold mission of introducing students to the dental profession as well as helping them navigate the college application process.
