What is a Pledge?

A pledge is a public declaration of commitment to the Foundation. Pledges may be paid with a one-time, in-full payment or paid in installments over five years. Residents making a pledge do not need to begin payments until after graduation.

All payments to the Foundation are tax deductible. Following each payment, you will receive an acknowledgment letter with a summary of your giving history. Please retain this acknowledgment as federal tax law may require you to have it in order to deduct your charitable contribution. To provide you with accurate records for tax purposes, this will confirm that the Foundation has not provided any goods or services in exchange for your gift. The Foundation for Endodontics is an exempt organization under code 501(c)(3). Your payments are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. If you’ve made a pledge and for some unforeseen circumstance you cannot meet the commitment, contact the development coordinator at or call the Foundation at 800-872-3636.
