Foundation exceeds 2022-2023 campaign goal by 11%!

The Foundation for Endodontics wrapped up its 2022-2023 annual campaign with $809,000 in new donations to fund a host of endodontic research, education, and access to care initiatives.  Thank you to one and all for your contributions at every level!

Among the highlights of this year’s fundraising efforts:

• New major gifts by Drs Stuart Fountain, Mark Desrosiers and his wife Sue, Joanne Milobsky, Joseph Petrino, Marcus Johnson, Marc Gimbel, Maria Locher-Claus; and from Mr Mike Loessberg of Avalon Biomed.
• Renewed major gift support from the New York State and Michigan Associations and the College of Diplomates.
• The creation of two new named educator development grants, honoring 2023 IB Bender Award winner Dr Scott McClanahan, and paying tribute to fifty years of fundraising and friendships forged by the AAE Alliance
• Welcome to Dr Scott McClanahan as a new member of the Jacob B Freedland Society; and perpetual thanks to Dr David Funderburk and his wife Rebecca who increased their Freedland commitment in 2022.
• New corporate partnership commitments by Avalon Biomed, Cornerstone Dental Specialties, Endodontic Practice Partners, Komet USA, Quintessence Publishing, Sonendo, and Treloar & Heisel.

The Foundation is proud to announce Dr Nadia Chugal of UCLA as the inaugural recipient of the Dr Scott McClanahan Tribute named grant; Dr Kathleen Gaboardi of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine as the first recipient of the AAE Alliance named grant; and Dr Keith Boyer of Western University of Health Sciences as the second recipient of the Anil Chandra Memorial grant.
