Specialized Dental Partners Renews Pledge Commitment to Foundation for Endodontics’ Domestic Access to Care Program
Expanded support enables continued funding of member-led initiatives that provide free endodontic care to underserved communities beginning January 2026
The Foundation for Endodontics is pleased to announce that Specialized Dental Partners has renewed its pledge commitment to the Foundation’s Domestic Access to Care Program for 2026. With this renewed partnership, the Foundation and Specialized Dental Partners will continue supporting AAE member-led efforts to expand access to high-quality, free endodontic treatment for individuals in need across the United States beginning in January 2026.
The Domestic Access to Care Program, a collaborative initiative between the Foundation for Endodontics and Specialized Dental Partners, provides grant funding to AAE members to help deliver free root canal therapy and other endodontic services to underserved, uninsured, and vulnerable populations. Since its inception, the program has enabled a range of community projects—such as care clinics in urban and rural settings—that otherwise would not have access to specialty dental treatment.
During its first four years (2021-2024), the program has:
- Provided $158,234 to AAE-member led projects across eight states
- Treated 830 patients
- Completed 1,499 procedures
- Logged 2,724 volunteer hours
- Averaged $190 per-patient investment

Specialized Dental Partners is a specialty dental service organization built to support dental specialists—including endodontists, periodontists, and oral surgeons—through comprehensive practice management solutions while preserving clinical autonomy. Founded in 2018, Specialized Dental Partners now supports specialists across hundreds of practice locations nationwide, empowering clinicians to focus on exceptional patient care and community impact.

The Domestic Access to Care Program not only addresses unmet clinical needs but also fosters philanthropic engagement among endodontists and raises public awareness of the importance of preserving natural teeth through specialized care. Grants from the program have supported projects that serve uninsured adults, individuals experiencing homelessness, and other populations lacking access to comprehensive dental services.
