COVID-19 Relief Grant

Graduating residents are recognized as the future of endodontics and the Foundation remains committed to ensuring that future in every way possible. A one-time $500 grant is available to each resident member of the AAE who is graduating in 2020. The intention of this funding is to help offset the unforeseen financial impact many are experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic and to provide aid to residents transitioning into the field during a significant social and economic shift.

Eligibility

To receive funding, applicants must be:

  • Current AAE resident members who joined before April 30, 2020, and
  • Post-graduate endodontic residents graduating in 2020 at an institution accredited by or having a reciprocal agreement with the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association.

This does not include residents graduating in any subsequent year or any AEGD/GPR/Fellowship program participants in an accredited program.

In order to receive funding, applications must be received by June 30, 2020.

The Foundation hopes the COVID-19 Relief Grant will provide reassurance to the newest members of the specialty that the Foundation will support them now and throughout the entirety of their careers thanks to the continued generosity of donors within the endodontic community. There are many unique challenges ahead for the class of 2020, and as the next generation of endodontic practitioners going out into the world, the Foundation is eager to offer support towards their success.
