AAE 2027 Call for Committee Nominations is Now Open!
The AAE needs your help in identifying members to participate in one of eighteen AAE Standing Committees. Our Standing Committees are a driving force in AAE governance. The AAE is strong because of the dedicated, diverse, and hard-working individuals who volunteer their time and talents.
The selection process for committee appointments will begin soon. A limited number of positions are available for three-year terms (2027–2030) as well as one-year appointments for resident members. I encourage you to consider volunteering to serve on a committee or to nominate colleagues whom you believe would make meaningful contributions to the AAE.
This is a valuable opportunity for members to deepen their involvement, contribute their expertise, and help shape the future of our Association.
When making a nomination, I encourage you to reflect on individuals you’ve worked with—whether through the AAE, an affiliate, or a state/local dental organization—and their demonstrated commitment and performance. Then, please complete the online nomination form, outlining why you or your nominee would be a strong asset to the AAE. All responses will be kept confidential and considered carefully during the appointment process.

Special Committee to Update Diagnostic Terminology
The Committee is charged with reviewing Diagnostic Terminology as published in the November 2009 issue of the Journal of Endodontics and proposing updates based on current research and practice. also asked to develop a plan for disseminating the revised terminology to communities of interest at completion of the project and identify other resources or processes that would require updates based upon updated terms.
