Save Your Tooth Month
As a part of our Worth Saving initiative, we have devoted the entire month of May to celebrate saving natural teeth – and to recognize the "savers" who make that possible: endodontists! As an AAE member, you play an important part in making a remarkable #SaveYourToothMonth possible.
AAE officially begins its annual Save Your Tooth Month recognition on May 1. Get ready for social media celebrations, media moments and a surprise or two! Those who wish to participate via social media are encouraged to use the hashtags #sytm2022 and #i❤rootcanals. Dozens of members continue to celebrate and their amazing content can be viewed on their practice’s social media accounts and AAE social media properties! Be sure to join in, to make May 2022 one of the most memorable Save Your Tooth Months yet!
How You Can Help
As highly skilled and specialized providers of dental care, you and your office team can help increase awareness around #SaveYourToothMonth and the value endodontists provide in saving natural teeth by sharing the example below posts on social media and by utilizing AAE member resources!
Digital Ways to Get Involved
Share a story on social media about what natural teeth means to patients. They're the gateway to our bodies and an overall sign of good health!
Use the hashtags #sytm2022, #i❤rootcanals or #i❤savingteeth in your social posts.
AAE members who are Journal of Endodontics subscribers will receive a complimentary cloth face mask with their April issue of the JOE. We invite you to spread the love and show some teeth (saving!) spirit by wearing this mask over your own protective PPE!
Show patients how much you care about helping them keep their natural teeth for life -- and how much we all LOVE root canals -- and encourage them to celebrate Save Your Tooth Month, too! Share a selfie on social wearing this mask, and use the hashtags #sytm2022, #i❤rootcanals or #i❤savingteeth for a chance to be featured!

Patient Friendly Videos
The AAE has professional patient education videos you can share with patients and referring dentists. The videos are located on our website and on our YouTube page. Link the videos to your practice website, share them on your social media pages, and show them to patients and colleagues.
This is a patient-focused video to help dispel the myths and unnecessary fears of root canals. It features interviews with patients and their endodontists.
