S350 – Tweet

Urge your senators to support S.350, The Competitive Health Insurance Reform Act

The U.S. Senate is considering a bi-partisan measure to revoke protections for insurance companies and make dental coverage more competitive to benefit patients and practitioners. Support your specialty and your patients by acting to support S.350 today!

Repeal of the McCarran-Ferguson antitrust exemption would enable federal agencies to enforce federal antitrust laws against health insurance companies engaged in anticompetitive conduct. When health insurance companies are permitted to collude or disregard antitrust principles, patients’ cost of care goes up, their access to care is limited and reimbursement rates are impacted.
