May Paper Point Intro Letter: Thanks for a Great AAE22!
First things first, I want to give a big round of applause to those of you who are graduating in the coming months! Your hard work and determination as residents have paid off and I welcome you as you enter an exciting chapter of your career as a new practitioner. Please remember, the purpose of the Resident and New Practitioner Committee is to serve your needs as new practitioners as well. Do not hesitate to reach out to the staff, residents@aae.org, if you have specific inquiries or questions about what the RNP Committee can do for you!
For those of you who attended AAE22 (https://www.aae.org/specialty/communique/thanks-for-a-great-aae22/ ), thank you for your participation in the Resident and New Practitioner events and activities. Our goal is to create a few unique experiences for you and your colleagues while at the meeting. Our committee oversaw two events in Phoenix. Career Fair at AAE22 was a success! This year, we had about 130 attendees from 33 states and three countries. It was the largest career fair with 72 companies represented!
We also had Resident Reception designed exclusively for the endodontic resident, taking place at the Arizona Wilderness Beer Garden. It was a chance for our Endo Strong residents to reunite or meet for the very first time. I want to thank our staff Kelly McNamara and Heather Niziolek for helping us make both these events possible. Big thanks also to our Board liaison and AAE22 local liaison Dr. Brad Gettleman for his kind spirit and all his work.
