Whether you’re encountering misleading claims online, in conversations with patients, or within the broader dental community, this toolkit provides actionable steps to report inaccuracies, amplify trustworthy information, and educate others.

Steps to Take Action:

Notify the AAE of the instance(s) of misinformation and report the offending content to the platform where you found it.

3. Stay Vigilant, Educate Your Colleagues, and Escalate as Necessary

Keep an eye out for misinformation and spread the word among fellow dental health professionals about its growing presence. Inform them of AAE’s professional resources.
