Paper Point Editorial – May 2024
Dear Endodontic Residents and New Practitioners,
I would like to extend a huge congratulations to all our graduates/new endodontists! This is such an exciting time for you and your families- you did it!
One of the best things I did following my residency graduation was to take a month off before starting work. While this might seem a little excessive (or not enough, depending on who you are), this was the first time aside from the pandemic lockdown that I had taken more than one consecutive week off since I started my undergraduate studies. My wife and I were able to get settled in our new home and do some traveling prior to jumping headfirst into the next chapter of life. Looking back, this mini sabbatical was filled with memories that I continue to cherish. Maybe you just need two weeks or maybe you need two months- regardless, I hope that you will take some time for yourself to celebrate your hard work, relax your mind, and recharge your spirit.
Residents: don’t forget to mark your calendars for APICES 2024 which will be taking place in Austin, Texas on August 16 and 17. The RNPC has put together an incredible program for you all, and we cannot wait to be together again in just a couple more months. If you have questions about anything at all, do not hesitate to reach out to me at any time: acgdmd@gmail.com.
