AAE Honors Dr. Maria Maranga for Exemplary Service as Retiring ADPAC Representative  

The AAE extends its heartfelt thanks to Maria C. Maranga, DDS, for her dedicated service as the AAE Representative to the American Dental Association’s Political Action Committee (ADPAC). ADPAC is the ADA’s political fundraising arm, supporting its advocacy efforts by empowering dentists to educate and influence federal candidates who champion the issues of organized dentistry. 

Dr. Maranga was appointed to this role due to her strong political acumen and influential relationships within the ADA organization. Throughout her tenure, she has been a powerful voice on the Board, advocating for the legislative priorities impacting endodontists in her role as ADPAC Representative and through her participation across the broader ADA organization. In particular, she has prioritized issues such as ensuring dental providers access to mental health treatment and has been a leader in the ADA’s Give Veterans A Smile Initiative.  

Dr. Maranga’s term will officially conclude at the ADA House of Delegates’ annual meeting in New Orleans, LA, next month. The AAE is deeply grateful for her outstanding service and significant contributions to the future of our specialty!
