AAE Represents Endodontists at June Dental Quality Alliance Meeting

In June, Dr. Beth Ann Damas and AAE staff joined the Dental Quality Alliance (DQA) for their biannual meeting. The ADA developed the DQA to advance performance measurement to improve oral health, patient care, and safety through a consensus-building process.

Beginning in 2024, State Medical Assistance and the CHIP programs will require reporting three quality measures, including oral exam codes D0120-D0171. Additionally, alternative payment models are being developed to reward positive improvements in oral health outcomes.

Participation in events like these is part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to represent endodontists and their voices on critical issues affecting dentistry and patient care.
