General
AAE21 will take place virtually Wednesday, April 21 – Saturday, April 24, 2021.
AAE21 will take place completely online and will use a virtual platform that allows attendees to view general sessions, enjoy live and on-demand educational content, participate in small-group video chats and interact with exhibitors.
Registration will open in early February.
A virtual conference is essentially an event that you can attend from the comfort and convenience of your home, office, or wherever else you can think of, through your personal computer, tablet or mobile device. Think of it as attending a standard AAE webinar but with the ability to engage with other attendees, speakers and exhibitors who are also attending the conference online. We are bringing two worlds together for a shared, unique experience!

Activity Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Should an attendee cancel or no-show for a designated activity, any refunds for purchases made from a non-AAE vendor must be requested directly from said vendor. AAE will not refund attendees for any purchases made outside of our registration system.
A no-show occurs if a registrant does not cancel in advance of AND/OR does not show up for the activity. If a registrant no-shows, they will forfeit their spot for the activity.
Please do not share your login information. For every paid registration to attend virtually, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual conference. The CE credits earned, the questions asked, and the interactions with exhibitors or attendees within that single login session are all tied to an individual registration.

Yes, as the speakers present you will see their image next to the session slides.
We encourage you to ask questions at any time. During the live sessions, you are able to ask questions in real-time while the course is streaming live. Speakers will answer questions at the end of their sessions.
Questions for any on-demand sessions or for any recordings of previously livestreamed sessions can be submitted to speakers via email or through the meeting website. Questions for speakers can also be submitted to meetings@aae.org.
Technology
To participate, you need a strong WiFi internet connection, and an up to date internet browser is required. For the best viewing experience, we recommend that you join the conference using a supported internet browser, which includes Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
Most up to date devices such as laptops, desktops, and handheld tablets are capable of running the virtual conference. For technology assistance during the event, simply click on the Tech Support button or call the support number provided to address any technology issues for the virtual event.
