AAE22 In-Person (in Phoenix) April 27-30, 2022!

By Dr. Bradley H. Gettleman

AAE22 in Phoenix is a meeting you’ll definitely want to attend. Historically, we’ve all had the opportunity to take advantage of the best endodontic meeting in the country on an annual basis: our AAE annual session. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, that opportunity has not been available to our members for the past three years.  However, thanks to the vaccine and the AAE22 planning committee, the long-awaited in-person annual session is finally back – AAE22 and your chance to reconnect with your colleagues is just about here! We truly hope all of you are as excited as the planning committee about this upcoming event. The committee has worked hard to make our first in-person annual session in three years a memorable event.

With an average high temperature of 85o Fahrenheit and a low of 60o, there aren’t many better places to be in April than Phoenix. You can anticipate an amazingly diverse cuisine, so everyone in the family will be able to find something they really enjoy. If the opportunity arises, don’t pass on the margaritas. Further, you’ll find the outdoor activities plentiful, with golf courses galore and numerous hiking trails.  To enjoy the beautiful desert terrain, you don’t have to be a hiker or a runner; you can view the landscape riding a horse or from the passenger’s seat of a Jeep on an off-road tour. If the outdoors isn’t your thing, there’s also an abundance of upscale shopping areas to experience. In addition to traditional indoor malls, like Scottsdale Fashion Square, there are some incredible outdoor malls, such as Biltmore Fashion Park, Kierland Commons, and Scottsdale Quarter.

As for the endodontic part, we have an incredible array of presentations lined up – featuring the latest in technology, clinical/ethical dilemmas, non-surgical treatment, pain, surgical endodontic therapy, practice management/teamwork, and just about everything else you can imagine related to the practice and teaching of endodontics. This may be the most informative annual session ever.

Moreover, we are taking every precaution to make AAE22 as safe as possible with respect to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center, a fabulous venue for our session, and all of the attendance requirements are available on the AAE website. The section entitled AAE22 Meetings and Events Health Safety Code of Conduct has recently been updated, and we will continue update this page as more information regarding the pandemic becomes available.  In addition, if you are unable to attend in-person, a virtual meeting option will be available.

While at AAE22, please take a moment to thank our AAE staff for keeping our association functioning flawlessly during this unprecedented time. They’re absolutely INCREDIBLE! A big thank you to the planning committee led by:
