AAE Life member and Past President James C. McGraw, D.D.S., was recognized with the 2016 Honorary Lifetime Member Award from the University of Washington School of Dentistry Dean’s Club. Dr. McGraw accepted his award at the 32nd annual Dean’s Club Dinner on April 30, 2016.
Dr. McGraw received his Certificate in Endodontics from the UW School of Dentistry in 1969 and taught endodontics at the school for 24 years. After his retirement, he remained active at UW through his service to the school’s Admissions Committee, Ethics and Professionalism Committee and Partners in Diversity Committee, which he helped found.
In addition to his leadership in the AAE, Dr. McGraw is a founding member of the Washington State Association of Endodontists and past president of the Washington State Dental Association and the Seattle King Dental Society.
The UW School of Dentistry Dean’s Club was established in 1983 with a core mission to maintain and enhance the school’s international reputation for excellence in dental education. Dr. McGraw is a charter member of the Dean’s Club.
