Naming the Part-Time Educator Award

Help Us Choose a Name for the Prestigious Part-Time Educator Award

Part-time educators play an important role in endodontic education, giving back to the specialty by sharing their valuable knowledge and experience with predoctoral students and endodontic residents.

The Part-Time Educator Award recognizes members who have demonstrated dedication to endodontics through their contributions as a part-time educator, and who have instilled in their students the desire to pursue excellence in their careers.

The AAE will be naming the Part-Time Educator award after an AAE member endodontist who embodies the true spirit of this important honor. The award may be named after a current, retired or deceased part-time educator who has dedicated a considerable portion of his or her career to teaching part time.

The Honors and Awards Committee is seeking members’ recommendations on whom the award should be named after. If you would like to recommend an endodontist whose name should be lent to this extraordinary award, please submit your nominee’s name, the institution at which he or she serves or served as a part-time educator, as well as a description of why the individual is deserving of having the Part-Time Educator Award named after him/her.

Please submit your recommendation to awards@aae.org by January 12, 2018, using “Award Naming” as the subject line of your email.
