Foundation Announces Updates to Funding Opportunities, Fellowship Award Guidelines

It’s the second month of 2018, and the Foundation for Endodontics is embracing all the change and excitement that comes with a new calendar year. Check out updates to some of the Foundation’s funding opportunities and learn about new ways the Foundation is supporting you!

New Educator Development Grant Opportunity in 2018!

In an effort to provide greater flexibility for applicants and to ensure that educators are getting professional development opportunities that meet their individual needs, the Foundation for Endodontics has restructured some of the previous grants available to full-time educators. Effective January 1, 2018, the Foundation is now offering a new Full-time Educator Development Grant.

The new grant includes:

  • One easy application
  • More than six meetings/courses added to the list of opportunities eligible for funding
  • Non-taxable reimbursement for the full amount of funds for the year

Foundation for Endodontics Endodontic Educator Fellowship Award

Please note the following award guidelines/eligibility update and application submission deadline change:

  • Previously, individuals could apply during the first three years they were employed full time as an endodontic educator. Now individuals may apply during the first five years that they are employed full time as an endodontic educator, up to the end of their fifth year of employment.
  • The deadline for application has moved from April 15 of each year to May 15 of each year.

Resident Research Grant Expanded

An additional $500 grant is now available for each resident who uses the initial $500 award towards a research project. The additional $500 becomes available once the initial $500 grant has been awarded and used.
